Olay Regenerist 14-Day Skin Intervention Review

Is This the Intervention Your Skin Needs?

What would you say if I told you that in just 14 days, your skin can look younger and brighter?

Sounds like a real sales pitch, but it’s exactly what Oil of Olay claims about their Regenerist 14 Day Skin Intervention.

We’re going to take a look at the actual ingredients to see if the product has the juice to back it up or if it really is just a pitch to take your hard-earned cash.

What Do They Claim?

Olay claims that in just 14 days, this product will significantly firm your skin and reduce the appearance of your wrinkles. Your skin tone and texture will be more even and you’ll look younger regardless of your skin type.

The product is to be used in 2 phases and comes with 6 tubes of product to be used for week 1 and 6 tubes to be used during week 2. The phase 1 product will “Ignite skin’s surface turnover, infusing it with moisture. Phase 2 will lift, firm and smooth your skin’s appearance with intense hydration. They’re making some pretty straightforward claims so let’s move on and check out what’s in it and what users are saying about it.

What’s In It?

The ingredients lists for both phases are virtual Who’s Whos of the anti-aging world. They’re chock full of moisturizers, amino acids, collagen stimulators, water retainers, skin emollients and antioxidants. Phase 1 is particularly angled toward purifying, moisturizing, healing, and restructuring while Phase 2 is mostly new skin cell stimulation and moisturization.

Some ingredients in Phase 1 include niacinimide, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 (aka the anti-wrinkle superhero Matrixyl), Arnica Montana Flower Extract (aka Wolfsbane), green tea extract, lavender extract, betaine, allentoin and vitamin E. That’s only skimming the list, but if these were the only ingredients in it, I’d say give it a try. They’re all in the first half of the list, too, so you know that they’re significant players in the product.

Stage 2 boasts such ingredients as niacinimide, caffeine, palmitoyl pentapeptide-4, vitamin E, witch hazel, aloe, green tea extract and cucumber extract. Healing, soothing, and regenerating.

What Are Users Saying?

People seem to really like this product. They’re reporting improvement in the appearance of wrinkles and in how soft and radiant their skin looks after just a few days. The product is easy to use and because it’s packaged in individual tubes, it’s a piece of cake to know how much to use.

People who were expecting to get rid of really dark spots were disappointed but those who were only dealing with some lighter ones were happy. Also, some folks don’t like all of the plastic wasted by making individual tubes and report that it’s hard to get all of the product out.

Final Word

If you’re looking for a product that will moisturize your skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and even out a skin tone that’s already fairly good, then you’ll probably love this product. If you’re looking for something to drastically reduce really dark spots, then you’re going to be disappointed. I have to defend Olay here for a minute though because truthfully, shy of laser surgery, NO product is going to get rid of really dark age spots or sun damage in just 2 weeks. If the product claims that it will, you’re probably being duped.

This product has both the ingredients and the users’ thumbs up to make it worth your investment. Click here to try Olay’s Regenerist 14-Day Skin Intervention.
