How Not To Look Old

If you have been looking for helpful tips and ideas on how to stay looking young, or on how to be the best representation of your age, you might want to check out the book, “How Not to Look Old: Fast and Effortless Ways to Look 10 Years Younger, 10 Pounds Lighter, 10 Times Better.”

Released in May of 2009, it was written by Charla Krupp, who is a style expert for the Today Show and former beauty expert for Glamour Magazine.

This book offers easy-to-follow tips and handy advice for women regardless of age.

While focused on boosting the self identity and self image of women who are no longer in their twenties, Krupp aims to encourage women that they do not have to look they are twenty-five if really they are forty-five. The author is honest and quick to point out certain fads and trends that might look good on a twenty-year old, just look downright ridiculous on a forty-year old. However, instead of presenting the idea of aging in a negative light and telling an older women, “Face it you will never look young again,” Krupp actually gives handy tips that are timeless for looking young, vibrant and “with it.”

This book is designed to allow women a fresh perspective, you do not have to follow trends and fads to retain your youth. Really, when it comes down to it, you can cut a flattering pair of bangs into your hair, pick out a flattering shade of pink lipstick and wear a bra that actually fits your body, as well as improve your posture, and easily take off ten years.

“How Not To Look Old” is an enlightening alternative to some of the material on book shelves today and encourages a woman to act her age, regardless of what that age is, to truly be sexy.
