Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Corrector Review

Spotty Results, or Beautiful, Younger-Looking Skin?

Are you looking for a product that will fade your age spots and even out your skin tone wihout using hydroquinone?

If so, Clinique’s Even Better Skin Tone Corrector may be a great product for you to try.

We’re going to take a look at what’s in it and see what users have to say, then decide if the tone corrector is worth the money or just a waste of your time.

What Do They Claim?

Clinique says that their product will help you get younger looking skin by correcting the signs of sun damage, dark spots, age spots and uneven skin tones. They also claim that it can help with acne scarring and will help restore brightness to your skin regardless of what your tone is.

What’s In It?

The main ingredients that appear to be related to reducing age spots, lightening skin, and evening tone include citric acid in the form of grapefruit peel extract and salicylic acid. There are also several soothing agents and emollients. Cucumber fruit extract is pretty high up on the list and is known to help loosen dead skin cells, soothe irritated skin, and even skin tone.

The Even Better Skin Tone Corrector also has vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, and squalane in it. All three of these ingredients are known wrinkle fighters. These are more than half way down the list though so there may not be significant amounts of them to actually do you any good.

What are Users Saying?

Reviews on this product are generally positive but there are a fair number of users who report little to no results. These people seem to be overwhelmingly fair so that may be a factor.

People who like the product state that it’s not greasy and that they use it on dark spots on their arms, chests and hands as well as their faces. There are no complaints about texture or greasiness even from the folks who don’t like it.

Many users who love it report that they didn’t start seeing significant results for 4-6 weeks so time may be a significant factor for success.

It’s interesting to note that a significant portion of users were in their 20’s and some were even in their teens. The younger groups seemed to have better success but there’s no real way to determine whether it was truly better improvement or just a response to expectations.

Final Word

Clinique has a great reputation for producing quality products. Though they take a more natural approach by incorporating roots, extracts, antioxidants, and vitamins, their products seem to be successful and have a devoted following. This one is no different.

Considering that the majority of people who use the Even Better Skin Tone Corrector seem to like it enough to recommend it and buy another bottle of it, the product may be worth a try. It is a little pricey at around $50 but that’s still significantly lower than other comparable products.

As with many products, this one’s less expensive if you find it on Amazon instead of buying it from Clinique so I’ve included a link. Click here to find a great deal on Clinique’s Even Better Skin Tone Corrector.
