Are You Tired of Looking Tired?

Those dark circles under your eyes make you look old and worn out.

Unfortunately, there are several reasons why these develop and unless it’s just from short-term lack of sleep, they’re hard to get rid of.

The good news is that there are a few simple steps that you can take to cover them up while you’re waiting for your serum or cream to work permanently.

By the end of this article, you’re going to be able to face your day looking fresh and rested instead of tired and old, and it will only take you a few minutes to do it.

What You’ll Need

The good thing about this cover up job is that you probably have everything that you need to do it right there in your cosmetic bag. Let’s see.

How To Do It

Now that we have our list of necessary products, let’s take a look at the process of hiding those dark undereye circles.

  1. Apply the concealer to the dark circles under your eyes. Make sure that you get the inside corners because a lot of the time, that’s where they’re the darkest.

  2. Dampen a corner of your wedge sponge and dip it into the translucent powder. Pat that over the concealer to set it and to bring a bit of light shimmer to the area, making it appear lighter.

  3. Blend the matte brown eye shadow into the crease of your eyelid to make your eye appear open and dimensional. Brush a lighter color brown across your lid and browbone to enhance this illusion.

  4. Using the dark brown pencil, dot between the lashes on your upper lashline to make your eyes appear brighter. Use the same pencil to line the entire inner rim of your lower lid.

  5. The dark blue pencil is going to make the whites of your eyes brighter, regardless of what color your eyes are. Layer the blue over the brown, paying special attention to your lashlines.

  6. To complete the transformation, apply two layers of mascara to your upper lashes only – remember, we’re wanting to take attention AWAY FROM your lower eye area. The reason that it’s important to use waterproof is so that it doesn’t smudge and enhance the dark areas instead of decreasing the appearance of undereye circles like we’re trying to do.

Now that you know exactly how easy it is to hide those dark circles under your eyes, there’s no reason to walk around looking tired and older than your years. It only takes a few minutes to cover them up and it’ll be well worth the effort!
