The 2024/25 season was a significant one for Will as he got his first taste of under-21 football, featuring ten times in Premier League 2, scoring twice. He was also a regular at under-18 level, making 19 appearances at that age group, including starting all four of our FA Youth Cup games.
Over the course of the season, he built up more confidence with the ball at his feet and showcased his versatility by playing in all four defensive positions over the course of 2024/2025. Will, younger brother of former academy player James, joined us as an eight-year-old in 2015. In July 2025, Will signed his first professional contract.
