Sam (formerly known as Samuel Chinedu) joined us from Watford’s academy at the age of 11, and burst through into our under-18s last season, making 24 appearances and grabbing a goal in the north London derby. He made an impact early in the season against Southampton, coming on while we were 3-0 down, and helping us come back to claim a 3-3 draw.
A classy central defender who prefers playing on the right side of the defensive partnership, he is calm in possession and stepped up to make his under-21 debut in 2024/25, in our 2-2 Premier League 2 draw with Crystal Palace.
