Although playing as a central defender for much of his time in the academy, Sam adatped to play all across the back-four positions last term.
A hamstring injury in early 2024 hampered his progress, but he worked hard at his rehab to make his comeback during the season.
He made 11 appearances for the under-18s in the second half of the campaign, helping the team to a third-place finish.
Sam, who joined us aged eight, also training with the first team on occasions, further helping his development.
