VolumaLift Facial: A Low Cost Facelift
This new procedure promises to help you look younger without going under the knife and having plastic surgery. According to Dr Stephen Mulholland, M.D., a Plastic Surgeon who recently appeared on the popular TV show The Doctors, “lots of women workout, still feel young but want to look young too.” He goes on to say that “the VolumaLift Facial is a 30 min procedure that provides the effects of a facelift in a 30min wow.”
The VolumaLift utilizes commonly available, inject-able soft tissue fillers like simple sugar to replicate many of the buttresses of youth. In the procedure, the doctor will inject in those parts of the face that have lost the buttress support. They literally lift the face by filling.
“If you look at the average face that’s aged there is some sunken loss of volume and support under the eye, across the cheekbone, around the mouth, in this jowly area, back of the jaw and the brow,” says Dr. Mulholland. “By replicating those buttresses of support we can really create a youthful fullness, a fullness of youth.”
With a VolumaLift Facial, surgeons will often mix different fillers for various effects and inject down deep along the boney surfaces, thus recreating the buttress of support for the overlying soft tissue. The result is an elevating and pushing of those elements forward that restore a youthful fullness.
