Bioidentical Hormone Therapy: Does It Work?

There have been some interesting reports published on bioidentical hormone therapy. This is an anti-aging therapy that helps replenish the hormones that your body needs in order to function normally. When your hormones begin breaking down, your body begins to age and show the signs of time, however when you get hormone replacement therapy, you are able to restore the components of your body that protect your longevity.

Bioidentical hormone therapy is not the end all solution for aging problems. Nonetheless, when combined with a proper exercise regimen, it is possible to end problems and stress caused by adrenal fatigue, menopause, perimenopause and andropause, or male menopause symptoms.

Many patients who have gone through the therapy have since been able to eat better and exercise more, they’ve seen renewed vitality and energy in their life.

Bioidentical hormone therapy will help menopausal women end hot flashes, night sweats, memory loss, mood swings, weight gain, low libido and can also stop hair loss. This can be used also when a woman is suffering from early menopause and severe PMS.

Furthermore, bioidentical hormone therapy will also help men who go through male menopause symptoms like weight gain, lost libido, energy loss, muscle mass, and fatigue issues.

If you are considering if bioidentical hormone therapy is right for you, it is important that you consult with a doctor over your specific information. Hormone therapy is not always the answer as sometimes, changes in diet, exercise, or a medicinal approach can also solve your problems. Therefore, make sure you consider all of your options before entering into a hormone therapy treatment program.

I think this is what the main message of preventative medicine is, prevent your future problems by changing your lifestyle. If your symptoms are too overwhelming then you can undergo hormone therapy and minimize the problem.

I ordered my blood and saliva tests to see what my hormone levels are to see if I should undergo bioidentical hormone therapy. I am very eager to see my results.

This sums it up in my opinion. I have been on bioidenticals for 4 months now and I feel better after each month. My doctor has really helped me out a lot during this process. I recommend others to do their research.
