Arsenal through and through, lifelong Gunners fan Lotte endured an injury-hit campaign that ended on a high note: a late substitute appearance in the Champions League final success just days after she had signed a new long-term deal with the club.
Her frustration was even more understandable given that she had taken her game to a new level in 2023/24, a campaign in which she won our Player of the Season award with 41 per cent of the vote. Composed in defence and blessed with great vision, Lotte had made more blocks, tackles and progressive passes than in any previous campaign.
The London-born centre back progressed through the Academy ranks and made her senior debut in 2015, aged just 16, before heading to the United States to play college football two years later. She returned in September 2020 and made her England debut the following year, featuring in the Lionesses squad at the last two European Championships either side of the 2023 World Cup.
Lotte is also a passionate advocate for Arsenal in the Community and has established her own programme in which local girls express themselves through football and creative arts at The Arsenal Hub.
